Privacy

sshai is self-hosted software. The product's core privacy property is architectural: your terminal traffic never touches our servers. The sshai server you install binds only to your private Tailscale address, and neither the server nor the iPhone app sends telemetry, analytics, or usage data anywhere.

What we do process

• Purchases — handled by Stripe. We receive your email address and a checkout reference so we can issue your license key and provide support. We never see card numbers.
• License checks— when the installer validates or downloads with your key, our server logs the key's hashed fingerprint, a timestamp, and standard request metadata (IP address) for fraud prevention. No information about your VPS, code, or sessions is included.
• This website — standard web server logs. No third-party analytics.

What we never process

• Your terminal input or output, code, prompts, or Claude conversations.
• Your Tailscale network details or device list.
• Your Anthropic credentials.

Third parties

Stripe (payments), and the services you choose to use with sshai: your VPS provider, Tailscale, and Anthropic — each under their own terms and privacy policies.

Data requests

Email support with your purchase email to access or delete your license record. Note that deleting it revokes the key's ability to download updates.
